Wake up around 6:30-7:00 and eat breakfast. There's not much time to spare here, when C wakes up he is a hungry little man! After breakfast we usually play in the house, get things picked up and do "inside" things.
Below you can see what Charlie did while I made the bed... I think he was pretty sure that linen closet needed to be re-organized anyways :)
On this particular day, Charlie was trying on his new life vest for an upcoming vacation. No, he was not seriously hurt, hungry or sad. He just REALLY hated having this life vest on! Sorry bud, it's gotta happen if you want to go on a boat :(
After about 2 hours it's naptime (1 of 2). I scurry around the house or the yard and try to get things cleaned, people called, emails returned, laundry started, lawn mowed (yes, he sleeps right through it!), etc. You moms know the drill, no time to spare!
Now the fun begins, I love this part of the day. After nap 1 we either run errands, go to the park, play with playgroup friends, or go to Gymboree. Totally depends on the day!

Playing with friends in the GIANT sandbox at Frederik Meijer Gardens
Pacifiers are a must here. Sand + mouth = YUCK!
Lunchtime is next! Usually we are at home, sometimes we venture out and have a picnic at the park.
Nap 2 begins (usually) and I get dinner ready and do things that I didn't do during nap 1. I usually eat lunch now, much easier to eat and prepare lunch when C isn't crawling up my legs (but I do love it!).
After nap we either run an errand that we didn't do in the am, go for a walk or hang out outside in the yard that Ben worked so hard on. We have our own little playground that he build and the sandbox is always a hit, along with the swing, water table, wagon, car, you name it, C loves it because he could LIVE outside!
Then, alas, dinner and DADDY!!! I love this family time when Ben gets home. And maybe, just maybe, we get ice cream. Okay, who am I kidding? We get it all the time!
Just in case you were wondering, that flurry is not all for Charlie, it was a family effort :)
I love what I do everyday. I know some mamas need to go to work and be with adults, but there is nothing I would rather do everyday than be with my little man. Besides, that's what playgroups are for!
