Ocean in a Box

Today we continued learning about all the great sea animals, it is so easy to find activities for this theme! Charlie explored his own "ocean" right here in our living room.
I used blue glass pebbles and found sea animals all at the Dollar Tree, love that place for things like this! Although the animals were not quite the right colors ( hot pink shark, yellow sting ray) Charlie did not seem to mind!
He had fun playing in the water and eating the animals, teething!! We also read the book "Fish is Fish" by Leo Lionni.
