My new favorite thing

I was debating whether I should make baby food or just buy it.  I mean, the food is pretty inexpensive and healthy.  Although, we could save a little cash and I know that what I was feeding Charlie was wholesome fresh foods.  So, I thought I would give it a shot and at least try and make it.  Luckily, my in-laws gave me the Magic Bullet a few years back to make smoothies with.  Turns out it makes some darn good baby food too!



So, here is the first batch of peas.  I know, it does not look delicious to me either, but Charlie had no complaints!


I am now hooked, it is so much fun making Little C's food!  It really takes hardly any time at all, very simple and oh so satisfying.  Ben figured it costs about 1/4 of the price to make the food ourselves, that's pretty sweet.  I am not a die hard though.  Store bought baby food is great, and I'm sure we will use it from time to time when we are on the go.  Squash is next!!

He's just SO adorable, I have to put a picture of this guy in here somewhere :)  And yes, this is one of his toy bins that he realized today that he loves playing inside of.
