Sugar craft

I am beginning to think that I no longer need to set aside a day each week to clean our house. Now that Charlie is into more things and we are enjoying "making" crafts, our lives are a constant clean up, and I love it :)

I got this idea from my friend, Elyse, at the blue elephant. Sugar was the main ingredient in this craft and I can say that Charlie thoroughly enjoyed it! Chico might have enjoyed it even more. You see, this is how I envisioned this craft to go: Charlie takes the sugar and carefully puts it on the construction paper, over the glue, then grabs another handful, etc. An occasional hand might go in the mouth. However, the reality was that Charlie, within a minute or so, dumped the sugar everywhere. How is he quicker than I am? Oh well, I had a blast and Charlie had fun, mission accomplished!

Praise the Lord for hardwood floors. This craft is being continued this afternoon, with marshmallows.
