Growing up our house was decked out for every occasion. My mom loves decorating and when a new season or holiday was upon us our house was always ready to go. So, naturally, my sister and I do this as well. We are still building our supply of decorations, a little each year. My sister has great Halloween decorations. She actually makes (with her sons) ghost lollipops that hang from her tree outside, so cool!
So, I figure I better get on board for Easter and begin with my first ever easter egg tree (er, bush!). Luckily, my mom was in town and showed me how she used to do it. She actually pretty much made all the eggs. Maybe I did one? Oh yes, and of course, Charlie helped out when he could!
I used 2 dozen eggs, but now wish I had used another dozen.
Take a long needle, heat it up in a candle, then burn 2 holes on top of each egg. Put the thread through (plastic thread works great) each hole and tie in a knot.
Ta da!
