11 months old!

Another month, and now only one more before you turn 1 year old! Daddy and I were reminscing about you yesterday and how we cannot believe that almost a year ago we were in the hospital with you. This month, more than ever, has been a month of change for you :) You are doing SO many things and moving everywhere!

You have started crawling, on March 14th!!! You also stood by yourself the same day! We were at Gymboree when it first happened. The week after that you crawled a little, but only if you needed to to get something you wanted. But now, that's all you want to do. I can only hold you for so long before you get all wiggly and just want to be put down to explore. I love it! And the changing table? Forget it. It takes three times as long to change you now, you try to crawl right off of it.

The word "hot" has been added to your vocabulary too! I was holding you and a cup of coffee in the other hand. You went to reach for it and I said "hot" and then you kept saying it too! You were crawling around saying "hot, hot, hot", so sweet :) You continue to "sing" and do lots of babbling. When you get really tired and want to go to bed you say "na night" :)

Chico and you are true besties. You are a magnet to him and he is so patient with you. You pick at his paws, use his back to stand up, and I even found you chewing on his tail - yuck! Daddy and I think that Chico tolerates it since you give him so much food at the dinner table.

We had a record breaking warm month, it was in the mid 80's in March! We definitely took advantage and pretty much lived outside when we could! You discovered the baby swings at the park and you LOVE them! You laughed and giggled and could not stop smiling. So, we have found all of the closest parks to our house with baby swings. I think I know what we are getting you for your birthday :)

We are excited for another month, your final one before your big day! People always told us to enjoy this time because it goes so fast, and now we know what they mean. We are cherishing each day with you, Charlie! We are grateful that you are healthy and SUCH a happy little guy :) We miss you at night when you are sleeping. I still go in your bedroom each night before I go to bed to check on you and catch one more glimpse of you before I go to bed too. I just love you so very much Charlie!
